Osborne House winter wedding photos

The snow-covered Island made for the perfect winter wedding backdrop this weekend and I was lucky enough to photograph an amazing couple at the exclusive Royal landmark, Osborne House.

As snow fell on the Isle of Wight on Friday I excitedly watched from the window thinking how amazing it would be to photograph a bride and groom in the pure white snow. As you can imagine, it was freezing outside but up stepped two of my best friends, JonJon and Nat who were dying to dust off their wedding outfits to go and play in the cold!

With a 4×4 driver (Byles) recruited we set off on our trip across the Island. Our first stop was some pretty woodland complete with snow-laden trees before moving on to the completely white IW Steam Railway line where we clambered along the railway track to get some perfect winter wedding photos. As the light began to fade our snowy adventure took us to higher ground – the freezing hill-tops on the downs – before finally ending at the beautiful Osborne House

Osborne House made for a picturesque background for our winter wedding photos and we were so lucky to get permission to be able to work in the grounds of such an exclusive Isle of Wight venue.

Massive thanks from me to the very brave couple, driver, you guys for sharing and commenting on my pictures and posts the last few days and Bryn and Claire from Osborne House for their help in making this photo shoot happen. Roll on next winter!
